Multivariate Jeffrey Fluid Flow past a Vertical Plate through Porous Medium
Authors
Abstract:
An analysis is suggested to study the impact of Hall currents in Jeffrey fluid which is chemically reactive through a porous medium limited by a semi-infinite vertical permeable plate within the existence of heat generation. An evenly distributed magnetic field turns vertically on the porous surface which absorbs the Jeffrey fluid with a changed suction velocity with time. The analytical expressions are solved by means of three terms harmonic and non-harmonic functions. Statistical calculations are carried out for the point of resultant outcomes which are shown graphically and the impacts of the parameters velocity, temperature and concentration are listed. In addition, the results of skin-friction coefficient (τ), Nusselt number (Nu) and Sherwood number (Sh) are taken in to consideration. It is revealed that the impact of the Hall parameter on the channel velocities and skin friction coefficient is subjected to the estimation of the wall suction parameter.

MHD Casson fluid flow through a vertical plate
In this study, effects of numerous physical quantities like dissipation, thermal radiation, and induced magnetic field on magnetohydrodynamic Casson fluid flow through a vertical plate is addressed. The non-dimensional multivariable governing equations are solved numerically by by means of Runge-Kutta method along with shooting technique. Abstract-A numerical solution for the free convection flow past a vertical semi-infinite flat plate embedded in a highly saturated porous medium by allowing the plate to have a non-uniform temperature or a non-uniform heat flux distributions has been developed. Both local heat transfer rate and excess surface temperature as a function of the distance along the plate are tabulated for a few case...
full textUnsteady MHD flow of a viscous fluid past a vertical porous plate under oscillatory suction velocity
The study of hydromagnetic unsteady MHD flow of an incompressible, electrically conducting, viscous fluid past an infinite vertical porous plate along with porous medium of time dependent permeability under oscillatory suction velocity normal to the plate has been made. It is considered that the influence of the uniform magnetic field acts normal to the flow and the permeability of the porous m...
full textMagneto Convective Flow of a Non-Newtonian Fluid through Non-Homogeneous Porous Medium past a Vertical Porous Plate with Variable Suction
Radiation absorption and chemical reaction effects on unsteady MHD free convective flow of a visco-elastic fluid past a vertical porous plate in the presence of variable suction and heat source is considered. A uniform magnetic field is assumed to be applied in the transverse direction of the flow. The set of non-linear partial differential equations is transformed into a set of ordinary differ...

In this paper the two-dimensional flow of a micropolar fluid through porous medium over a continuously moving porous vertical plate under the combined buoyancy effects of thermal and heat source has been studied under the action of transverse magnetic field taking into account the thermal radiation field. The Roseland approximation is used to describe radiative heat transfer in the limit of opt...
full textAnalytical and numerical investigation of heat and mass transfer effects on magnetohydrodynamic natural convective flow past a vertical porous plate
The aim of this investigation is to study the effect of hall current on an unsteady natural convective flow of a viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting optically thick radiating fluid past a vertical porous plate in the presence of a uniform transverse magnetic field. The Rosseland diffusion approximation is used to describe the radiative heat flux in the energy equation. Analytical a...
